The ISEE Annual Conference is on.
If the early numbers are an indicator of future success, the ISEE Annual Conference Jan. 28 – Feb. 3, 2022, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas is on track for a great turnout:
- Registrations are higher than at this same point in 2020
- Nearly 90 papers have been submitted for potential sessions
- The exhibit floor is 80 percent sold
Combine this with new Blaster’s Weekend workshops, a new exhibit hall demonstration stage, fun, new sponsorship opportunities, and more activities planned in the exhibit space, this is an event you must attend.
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel does require all guests to wear masks while indoors, and we're working closely with them to make sure you have a great (and safe) experience.

Did you have a recent breakthrough on a project? Submit your findings for a chance to present your work at the world’s largest conference on explosives engineering.
Abstracts for the 48th Annual Conference on Explosives & Blasting Technique, to be held Jan. 30 - Feb. 2, 2022, at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev., are now being accepted by the International Society of Explosives Engineers.
Papers addressing all explosives and blasting related topics will be considered. Accepted papers will be scheduled for one of the technical sessions or the Blasters Forum, a multimedia poster event with one-on-one interaction between the author and the audience.
Abstracts of approximately 200-400 words are due by May 28, 2021. Please contact us if you do not receive confirmation within two weeks of submitting your abstract. Chapter sponsored abstracts/papers must be submitted by the deadline.
About the Conference
The Annual Conference on Explosives & Blasting Technique is the largest gathering of its kind involving field blasters, manufacturers of explosives-related products, educators and researchers. The conference provides a forum for the discussion of practical and technical information as well as presentation of the latest discoveries in the commercial explosives industry worldwide. ISEE members and non-members are invited to submit ideas for papers to be presented at the conference.
Presented papers will be published in the proceedings of the conference and at onemine.org, which is home to more than 124,000 articles, technical papers, books in the explosives, mining, minerals and tunneling industries from ISEE, SME, NIOSH, AusIMM, CIM, SAIMM, TMS, IMPC, DFI and IIMP.
